You Probably Ate About 1,500 Before Graduating High School…


So apparently today is Peanut Butter & Jelly Day.  Who knew?  Such an amazing invention.  It’s not perrishable and has been invading lunch boxes for over 60 years!

It’s estimated that the sandwiches started showing up sometime in the 1940’s.  The theory is that GIs in WWII were given rations of peanut butter and jelly during the war and once they came back peanut butter and jelly flew off the shelves.

Any way it came about it’s here and it is the most sandwich in American children’s lunchboxes.  And in honor I just had to…
