Well I Believe It…

A new study at the University of Melbourne showed that when workers are able to have the freedom to surf the interweb during the day they are more productive than those who don’t.

“People who do surf the Internet for fun at work – within a reasonable limit of less than 20% of their total time in the office – are more productive by about 9% than those who don’t,”

I believe it.  They say that the little mental breaks of switching from work to fun mode give the brain a rest and then allow you to be more productive when you come back.

God, so true.
